About Me

I was born in Dehradun, which is a city in Northern India. I completed my undergraduate in electronics and communications engineering in 2014 and my MBA in 2016 from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.

I have always preserved eclectic academic and extra-curricular interests. During my academic journey, I intiated and participated in myriad clubs, committees and workshops, and led numerous student organizations. Following my MBA, I served as a consultant in a boutique financial advisory firm and provided project management services to renewable power developers in developing economies.

During my masters', I experienced my first flavor of research as I pursued my thesis and examined changes in users' behavior on online social media platforms in response to breakthrough economic announcements. In 2018, I was offered a PhD position at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and I moved to Bloomington, Indiana. In summer of 2023, I joined the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, Athens, as an Assistant Professor.

My time away from research is often spent in making memories by traveling with my wife and playing musical instruments.
